The Dodgy front man will be releasing “Nothings Free” as a single and it can be downloaded for free, he also plans to let his fans pay what they like for the full album, which also now includes added bonus track “We’ve Come Too Far”.
Having previously released 21st Century Man and toured it across the UK, and reformed his band Dodgy, Nigel feels by making it available in this way fans can be re-introduced to his music and get the chance to own the album in full at an affordable price whilst those that have the CD can access the bonus material without overpaying.

Out Of Embers are a four piece rock band based in the U.K. The band emerged in 2008 from the rollercoaster come train crash that was The Tommys with guitarist Stevie Shepperson joined by Lozzy Bennett (Helen Keller) on bass and Chelsea Bishop (Swallow) on drums. (The La's and Cast).From the 'legendary' Liverpool band The La's and later of Cast. John Power will be playing a solo acoustic show. Which will feature his new material as well as some tracks by The La's and Cast.The La's have been cited as one of the most influential bands to come out of Liverpool since The Beatles. Their one and only album became a bench mark for class indie pop prior to the 'Britpop' explosion. After the demise of The La's, he went on to take charge of Cast, a formidable live four-piece with whom he’d sell bewildering amounts of records (1995’s All Change was famously the biggest and fastest selling debut album in the history of the Polydor label). Whether on the charts, on magazine covers or headlining at the Glastonbury festival, Power the pop star was a phenomenon that lasted four long-players until 2002.
But he is back now with a new album and as he says “These are the most comfortable, wind-in-my-sails recordings I’ve done,” he states. “It’s folk music, grassroots music. I could only have written this now, ‘cos I think you need a certain amount of living to write certain things, y’know? I feel like I’m only just starting to write and play the guitar. Back with a bang ! With a vocalist at last !! Ryan Madden has now taken over the vocal duties in this excellent outfit. Taking influneces from The Stone Roses, The Beatles, The La's etc. This is their first local gig ever with said vocalist. A lot of new songs will be aired for the first time.
